U.S. Colt Model 1911, .45 auto cal. military pistol. Serial #352642, mfg. 1918. Standard issue for U.S. World War I troops. Very good condition! Wow! 80% blue is very nice - some pitting on top of slide probably due to long term contact with a leather holster. Vivid markings with 1913 patent date on left side of slide. Correct inspector's mark of "Eagle S11" on left side of frame above magazine release button. Diamond wood checkered grips are very good. Very good bore. Tight action. Marked "United States Property" on left side of frame. Barrel is marked "P" and "I" on top. Right side of slide is marked: "Model of 1911 U.S. Army". Wear and thining of blue on grips straps and trigger guard as expected. Two "hand-dipper" two-tone magazines in very good condition. Great military piece in super condition! C&R OK.
